1. About ManualCPD

ManualCPD is operated by ManualCPD Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ManualCPD platform (“Platform”), website, and related services. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

“User” means any individual who accesses the Platform. “Subscriber” means a User with an active paid subscription. “Content” means all courses, materials, videos, PDFs, webinars, and resources available on the Platform. “Subscription” means a paid plan giving access to Content and features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By registering, you confirm you are a qualified or student healthcare professional or have a legitimate professional interest in the Content. ManualCPD reserves the right to refuse or terminate access at its discretion.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. ManualCPD reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused periods. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer and purchase a digital subscription, you have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase unless you have already accessed digital content, at which point you waive this right by express consent. Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be granted at ManualCPD's sole discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: share your login credentials; attempt to copy, scrape, or redistribute any Content; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content; attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any security measures; use automated tools to access the Platform without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

All Content on the Platform is owned by or licensed to ManualCPD Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Content for your personal professional development only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content without prior written consent.

8. CPD Accreditation & Certificates

ManualCPD courses are accredited by The CPD Group (Provider #788442). Certificates are issued upon successful course completion and are for personal professional development records only. ManualCPD does not guarantee acceptance of certificates by any specific regulatory body. It is your responsibility to verify CPD requirements with your professional regulator.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and Content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ManualCPD does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical, clinical, or professional advice. You must not rely on Content as a substitute for professional judgement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManualCPD Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). ManualCPD Ltd is the data controller. By using the Platform, you consent to data processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Accessibility

ManualCPD is committed to making its Platform accessible to all users. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. If you experience any accessibility barriers, please contact us at hello@manualcpd.com and we will endeavour to address these promptly. We publish an accessibility statement in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 where applicable.

13. Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking

ManualCPD Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings. In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (where applicable by turnover threshold), we take steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our operations or supply chains. We expect all suppliers and partners to uphold equivalent standards.

14. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Google (analytics), and others. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. ManualCPD is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

15. Modifications to the Platform

ManualCPD reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice where possible. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, in which case applicable mandatory local consumer protection laws may apply.

17. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at hello@manualcpd.com. We will endeavour to resolve disputes informally within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation before litigation.
